Fresh Vegetable Swirls

A crispy crust and cheesy topping are teamed with tomato and green pepper for a warm and wonderful taste sensation.
 

Ingredients:
1 (8-oz.) can Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
2 tablespoons sesame seed
2 oz. (1/2 cup) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese or shredded white Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons seeded chopped tomato
2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
Dash cayenne pepper


Directions:
Heat oven to 375F. Remove dough from can in two rolled sections. DO NOT UNROLL DOUGH. Coat rolls with sesame seed. Cut each roll into 8 slices; place cut side down, 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. In small bowl, combine remaining
ingredients. Gently mound and press about 2 teaspoons cheese mixture on top of each slice.

Bake at 375F. for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
16 appetizers.
