Fried Chick Peas
This is a great snack alternative to peanuts
Ingredients:
1 lb. dried chick peas
1/4 c. frying or cooking oil
salt to taste
garlic to taste
Method:
Soak peas in water overnight. Take peas out of water; drain. Average oil for
peas and put in a deep pot. When oil is hot, lower heat, then pour peas in and
turn every 2 minutes until brown. Take out of oil and place in a bowl with paper
towel for oil to soak on. Remove paper, then put salt and fresh crushed garlic
for taste.
