Peachy Meatloaf Recipe


Peachy Meatloaf

2 lb. chuck, ground
1 c. bread crumbs
1 (2 3/4 oz.) pkg. onion soup mix
1 c. milk
1 (16 oz.) can cling peach halves, drained
chili sauce

Combine chuck, crumbs, soup mix, milk in a 9-inch glass layer cake pan, shape it into mound.

With back of large spoon, make 3 indentations in top of meat mound; in each, set a peach,
hollow-side up; bake at 425 degrees for 50 minutes.

Heat rest of peaches in pie plate in same oven last 10 minutes.


To serve, with 2 wide spatulas, remove loaf to heated platter; top peaches with chili sauce.

Serve, cut into 6 wedges.
