Syrian Meatloaf Recipe


Syrian Meatloaf          


2 pounds ground beef
2 large garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon ground dry mint
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 large tomatoes, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley


Mix the ground beef, garlic, mint, salt and black pepper. Spread it into an oven plate (we used an 8-by-8-inch glass casserole). Top with slices of onion and tomato and cook at 400 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour. When it is done, sprinkle with parsley.
