Baked Barbecued Round Steak Recipe

Baked Barbecued Round Steak
1 to 1 1/2 pounds round steak, about 1/2 inch thick, cut in serving size pieces
2/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
Combine flour, seasoned salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; pound into the steak. Heat vegetable oil in skillet over medium heat; brown meat slowly. Place steaks in a baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat. Cover and bake at 325 for 1 hour, until tender. Uncover for the last 15 minutes of baking.
Serves 4 to 6.
