Mother's Waffle With Honey Butter

My mother passed away over 20yrs ago and every Sunday she made us waffles so this is her recipe and I carried on her Sunday tradition. ..

3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
4-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tab sugar
3 eggs
2 cups milk
2/3 cups melted butter

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar..
Beat egg yolks; add milk. stir into dry ingredients until mixture is smooth. blend in butter. beat egg whites stiff , fold in and.bake according to manufactures directions for waffle iron.
Serve with hot honey butter sauce

Honey Butter :

1 1/2 cups liquid honey
1/2 cup butter
dash nutmeg

Put ingredients in top of double broiler and heat thoroughly..
