Appalachian Country Cake

1 cup water
2 sticks margarine
6 tablespoons cocoa
Mix in medium sauce pan and bring to a boil. Set aside
2 cups sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix all ingredients in large in a large bowl. Add hot water,
margarine and cocoa mixture. Mix well. Pour into 9 X 13 inch
baking pan. Bake at 35 for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in
center comes out clean.
Frosting
Bring to a boil 1 stick butter, 5 to 6 Tablespoons milk,
4 tablespoons cocoa and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Remove from heat. Add 1 lb box
powdered sugar. Mix well. Pour over cake
