Candy Bar Chocolate Pound Cake

Makes 12 servings.
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
1 large (7-oz.) chocolate bar, melted
1 large (16-oz.) can chocolate syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2-1/2 cups flour
Preheat oven to 325F. Grease a tube pan; set aside.
Cream sugar and butter; add eggs one at a time. Add melted chocolate bar, syrup
and vanilla. Add buttermilk with soda added to it, alternately with flour, a
little at a time. Pour into prepared tube pan and bake 1 hour 15 minutes. Let
cool 15 minutes before cutting.
