Banana Icebox Cake
Ingredients:
1/2 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
4 eggs
1 lb. box vanilla wafers
3 large bananas, sliced
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg yolks and beat. Add stiffly beaten egg
whites, nuts and vanilla, fold in quickly. Spread cookie crumbs over bottom of 9
x 13-inch pan, spread 1/2 of mixture over crumbs, a layer of bananas, repeat and
top with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate overnight or at least 12 hours. Serve
with whipped cream.
