Cherry Cheese Icebox Cake  Recipe


Cherry Cheese Icebox Cake               

Ingredients:
2 pkg. ladyfingers (plain)
2 (1/2 pt.) heavy cream
2 (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can Comstock cherries
 

Directions:
Put ladyfingers in 9 or 10-inch glass Pyrex dish (cover all parts in cake dish). Let cream cheese get soft (room temperature). Cut up into little pieces and put in mixing bowl. Add heavy cream in bowl with cream cheese. Add cup of sugar in bowl. Add vanilla in bowl. Mix well with electric beater until smooth. Put mixture into cake dish (with lady fingers). Pour cherries over top and refrigerate for 2 hours.
