Fudge Icebox Cake
Ingredients:
1 pkg. strawberry or cherry
gelatin (4 serving size)
1 pkg. fudge cake mix or
devil's food
Topping:
1 pkg. Dream Whip (2 1/2 c.)
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
(4 serving size)
1 1/2 c. cold milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Dissolve gelatin in 3/4 cup boiling water. Add 1/2 cup of cold water and set
aside to cool. Mix and bake cake in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cool cake 20 minutes.
Poke deep holes in cake with a fork. Slowly pour gelatin into holes. Refrigerate
cake while making topping. In deep bowl, whip topping mix, instant pudding, cold
milk and vanilla. Beat until stiff, about 5 to 8 minutes. Frost and refrigerate
cake. May be frozen to serve later. Also, you may use white cake mix.
