Brat's Stuffing Bake Casserole
Ingredients:
1 loaf stale bread
1 c. diced onions
1/2 c. finely diced celery
2 tsp. sage
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 beef or chicken bouillon
cube, dissolved
water, enough to soak bread
6 or 8 brats
Directions:
Crumble bread and soak in bouillon broth (not hot!). Add sage, salt, pepper and
diced vegetables and mix with hands. Put into greased roaster. Press brats on
top of stuffing. Bake 1/2 hour on 350 degrees. Turn brats to brown on bottom
side and bake 1/4 hour. Stuffing absorbs all drippings and gives distinct
flavor.
