2 1/2 Cups sugar
3/4 Cup water
2/3 Cup light Karo syrup
Bring sugars and water to a boil and continue to boil until it spins a long
thread. Lift the spoon up and it will make a thread.
Beat 2 egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gradually add 1/4 cup sugar.
Slowly pour hot mixture into egg whites and beat until candy will stand in peaks
or until it begins to climb up the beaters of the mixer.
