Jingle Bars
Ingredients:
1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 Stick of Melted Margarine
1 Can Of Evaporated Mild
2 Eggs
1 Bag Of Caramel Candy ( 15 oz )
1 Package Of Chocolate Chips ( 12 oz )
Method:
In a bowl, combine the cake mix, margarine , half of the milk and both eggs.
Beat approximately four minutes at medium speed with a mixer. Spread half of the
mixture a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes and remove
from the oven.
Either in a microwave oven or a double boiler, melt caramels with the rest of
the milk. Carefully spread caramel mixture over the baked crust. Then sprinkle
with chocolate chips. Carefully spread the rest of the cake mixture on top and
bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Store in the refrigerator
* These bars are very rich a little goes a long way and are best served cold
