Butterscotch Salted Peanut Bars

Ingredients:
3 1/4 cups salted peanuts
CRUST
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter softened [no subs]
Topping Ingredients:
1/2 cup corn syrup
2 tbs butter
1 tbs water
1 cup butterscotch chips
Set oven to 350o
Instructions
Line a 15x10" baking sheet with parchment paper
Combine all crust ingredients and press into bottom of the pan
Bake for 10-12 min
Remove from oven and sprinkle peanuts evenly over the crust
In a saucepan combine the topping ingredients bring to a boil and cook for 2 min
stirring constantly
Pour the hot mixture over the peanuts and return to oven
Bake for 15 min more
Cool completely before cutting. |
