Ingredients:
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
1/2 c. candied pineapple
1/2 c. chopped apricots
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
2 eggs
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. melted shortening
Instructions
Beat eggs; add sugar and salt and beat until foamy. Add shortening; stir in
flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold in fruits. Spread in greased 9 inch pan and
bake at 300 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cut into squares and roll in powdered
sugar. |
