Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Pie

This is a recipe I got years ago at a Tupperware party and I have been making it ever since. It is SOOOO good!

Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Pie

16 oz package oreo cookies, crushed
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
10 oz jar chocolate fudge topping
12 oz container whipped topping

Mix crushed cookies with melted butter. Press into the bottom of 12" pie taker (tupperware item of course). Spread ice cream over the top of cookies. Pour fudge topping in even layer over the ice cream. Spread whipped topping over fudge. Garnish with chocolate curls or cookies if desired. Put in freezer for two hours.

Note: I've added chopped peanuts, caramel topping etc and never had this dessert go wrong. It is good no matter how you make it. Bet it would be good with other flavored oreos too.
