Black Bottom Turtle Dessert
Ingredients:
24 Oreo cookies, crushed-including the filling
1 (16 oz) jar caramel ice cream topping
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
1/2 gallon ice cream (I use vanilla)
Method:
Put half of crushed cookies in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Soften ice cream and spread
over cookie base. Pour caramel topping over ice cream. Sprinkle with pecans.
Spread Cool Whip over all. Top with other half of crushed cookies. Wrap well;
can be stored up to two weeks in freezer. (if it lasts that long)
