Cream Cheese Cherry Dessert

16 to 20 graham crackers
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 large package instant vanilla pudding
2 1/2 cups milk
1 can cheery pie filling
1 medium container Cool Whip
Melt margarine and pour over crushed graham crackers and sugar. Reserve 1/2 cup
graham crackers for topping. Press into a 9x13-inch pan. Beat together cream
cheese and powdered sugar, add pudding and milk. Beat until creamy. Pour over
graham cracker crust. Spread pie filling over pudding mixture. Top with Cool
Whip. Sprinkle reserved graham crackers over Cool Whip.
