German Chocolate Pig-Out

Serves/Makes: 12 Ready in: 30-60 minutes Difficulty: 3 (1=easiest :: hardest=5)
 

Ingredients:
1 package German chocolate cake mix
2/3 cup Evaporated milk
3/4 cup Margarine; melted
16 ounces Bag caramels
1 cup Pecans; chopped
8 ounces Chocolate chips

Directions:
Combine cake mix, half the evaporated milk and melted margarine. Spread half of mixture in bottom of 9 x 13" cake pan. Bake 5 minutes at 350 F.
Heat the caramels and rest of evaporated milk until melted. On the baked layer, spread the pecans and chocolate chips and the melted caramels and milk mixture. Top with the other half of cake batter. Bake 20 minutes at 350 F.
