Twinkie Bread Pudding

In 2005 the Hostess Twinkie is 75 years old! To celebrate the anniversary here
is a recipe featuring the tasty snack cake.
Ingredients
24 Twinkies, cut into thirds
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch salt
1 cup milk chocolate morsels
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place cut Twinkies in large mixing bowl. In a small mixing bowl, blend together
sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon and salt; blend well. Stir in chocolate
morsels. Pour milk mixture over Twinkies, and stir gently to coat. Allow to
stand 5 minutes.
Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray coating. Spoon Twinkie
mixture into pan. Bake 35 minutes or until golden brown and set.
Makes 18 servings. |
