Gingerbread Doughnut
Ingredients:
2 cups Flour
1/2 cup Demerara Sugar ( This is an organic sugar )
1/2 cup Molasses
1/2 cup Sour Cream
2 tbs Ginger
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Large Eggs
Sugar
Directions:
Take a large mixing bowl and combine the flour, salt, eggs, ginger, baking
powder, baking soda and sour cream.
When thickened to a dough, split in four and roll into balls by hand. Roll each
piece out until about and inch thick. Join both ends together to make a circle.
Drop into hot fat at about 350 F and cook until golden brown.
Sprinkle with more sugar and enjoy.
