Easy Alfredo Sauce

This recipe was provided by "A-Shift"
1 pint Heavy Whipping Cream
3 or 4 Fresh Basil Leaves, finely chopped
1 tsp Sweet Basil (dried)
1/4 cube Butter
1/3 cup Cream Cheese
1 tsp Fresh Garlic, mashed or minced
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (shredded, not grated)
Salt/pepper (to taste)
Feel free to add more Basil, Garlic, and Parmesan. Rarely do we measure our
ingredients, so be creative!
Add whipping cream to saucepan over low heat (you can do this while you prepare
the fresh ingredients)
Add basil, both fresh and dried
Add cream cheese
Bring sauce to a roiling boil, stirring often to avoid burning. Now turn down
the heat a little and keep stirring. The longer you boil/stir, the thicker the
sauce will get. You will need at least 15-20 mins of this.
Now taste, add pepper and salt (if needed), and serve.
