1 chicken ,cut into pieces
10 ounces Coca-Cola (1.25 cup)
1 cup ketchup
2 Tablespoons dried mustard powder
Salt & Black Pepper to taste
Salt & pepper chicken and place in skillet or pan depending on quantity. Make
mixture of cola,
ketchup, and mustard powder. Pour mixture over chicken. Cover and simmer
45 to 60 minutes before removing cover to let sauce thicken.
Brown rice, steamed broccoli, and good bread go well with this.
Quantity is easily increased for firehouse portions and "whatever chicken parts
are on sale" work fine also, but try to use bone-in so the sauce is rich enough.
