Firehouse Stew

5 pounds Stew meat -- Trimmed and cubed
1 large Potato per person -- Quartered
6 large Carrots -- Chunked
1 large White Onion -- Chunked
3 Celery ribs -- Cut in 2" pieces
2 Green peppers -- Chunked
3 Small cans Tomato soup
4 cans Water
1 large can Diced tomatoes
Salt and Pepper -- to taste
Place all ingredients in large Dutch oven and mix well.
Cover and bake @ 275 degrees for 5 hours.
Note: May increase oven to 300 degrees and bake for 4 hours.
Serves 12. Serve with Bread and Salad
