Firehouse Peanut Butter Cookies         


Ingredients
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt


Cream shortening. Add sugar, peanut butter, beaten eggs and vanilla. Sift flour. Add dry ingredients; sift again. Add fats and sugars. Blend. Make small ball and press on cookie sheet with fork. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

For special Fire Station 21 twist, add broken up Reese's peanut butter cups. Make the mix above and push the pieces into the cookies.
