Kahlua White Chocolate Fondue  Recipe

Kahlua White Chocolate Fondue
Source: Favorite Brand Name Best-Loved Chocolate Recipes - Collectors Edition
Makes 2 cups

Ingredients:
2 cinnamon sticks
2/3 cup whipping cream
6 oz. white chocolate, chopped (I have used the white chocolate chips as well)
1/4 cup Kahlua
Bite-sized pieces of fruit (strawberries, raspberries, bananas, pineapple, apple, pear,....) cubes of pound cake or brownies, cookies -- whatever works!

Directions:
Cut cinnamon sticks in half lengthwise and break each half into several pieces.
Combine cream and half of cinnamon pieces in small saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil, remove from heat and let stand 15 minutes. Add remaining cinnamon stick pieces; return to heat and return to a boil. Remove from heat, cover and let stand an additional 15 minutes.
Place white chocolate in medium bowl. Return cream to heat once more to a boil. Pour through a strainer, into the bowl with the white chocolate. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes; stir until smooth. Stir in Kahlua. Serve warm in a fondue pot with your choice of dippers.
Note: when making this, once the cream comes to a boil or a good simmer, I immediately pull it from the heat to prevent scalding.
