Seven Minute Frosting      

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 unbeaten egg whites
3 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla (add after cooking)

Directions:
Cook in double boiler over boiling water several minutes while beating with a portable electric mixer. Add the vanilla and frost cake.
