1/2 lb. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tablespoon water
5 tablespoons sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups pecans chopped
Preheat oven to 325º. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and water. Sift flour and
salt and stir into mixture. Add pecans and mix thoroughly. Shape into walnut
sized balls. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Roll in confectioner's sugar while hot.
