Recipe By : Carol Williams Serving Size : 32 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Low Carbohydrate Recipes Beverages Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups splenda 1 cup cocoa dash salt 2 cups water -- hot 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 teaspoon guar gum Method: In medium saucepan, add cocoa and salt. Gradually add water, stirring to keep mixture smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; boil and stir 3 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and guar gum. Pour into heat proof container. Cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate. About 2 cups syrup. Hint: Add the last cup of hot water slowly and judge the thickness with your eyes. NOTES : Each serving is : 2.6 carbs minus 0.9 gr. fiber =1.7 carbs |
