Recipe By : Carol with a few changes Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:12 Ingredients: 2 whole, large eggs 1/3 cup cream 1/3 cup whole wheat flour 1/3 cup water 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon butter 3 tablespoons whey protein powder Method: Note: Place 1/3-c. W.W. flour into a ½ c. measure, Add protein whey powder until you have ½ c. Place everything into blender and whirl until batter is smooth. Add a dab of butter to a 5" non-stick skillet & heat over medium heat. Pour in 2 T. batter & tilt pan carefully so batter completely covers the entire bottom of pan. Cook 1 minute on each side or until golden brown. Repeat until all the batter is used. 33.0 carbs minus 4.9 dietary fiber=28.1 grams per recipe 2.3 carbs each crepe Fill with Twinkie Cream with only 1 gram carb per 1 heaping tbs. Or: Fill with cream cheese and 1 tsp. low carb jam, roll and fry in butter on each side. Serve with sour cream if desired. Add extra carbs for filling. |
