Recipe By : Carol Williams Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Stroganoff Burgers: Grilled ground beef patties topped with a small amount of grilled onions,a slice of Swiss cheese, dollop of sour cream & shredded lettuce Cordon Bleu Burgers: Top grilled patties with ham slices, Swiss cheese & Dijon mustard. Taco Burgers: Grilled patties topped with salsa, sour cream, Monterey Jack slices & shredded lettuce. Tratorria Burgers: Grilled patties topped with red bell pepper slices , mozzarella slices & mayo Alpine Burgers: Grilled patties smothered in sauteed mushrooms, mayonnaise & topped with Swiss cheese Mozza Burgers: Grilled patties topped with Low Carb 1000 Island Dressing , crisp bacon slices & mozzarella slices "Teen" Burger: Top grilled patties with raw or fried onions, dill pickle slices, crisp bacon slices, low carb ketchup, mustard, cheddar slices & lettuce leaves. Greek Burgers:{made with lamb/beef mixture if desired} Make a sauce of 1/4 cup mayo,1/4 cup plain yogurt, 1 teaspoon dried dill & 2T.finely chopped,well drained cucumber. Top the grilled burgers w/ 1T. sauce, finely chopped Roma tomatoes, black olives & crumbled feta cheese.Serve on a low carb tortilla. Parma Burgers: Grill chicken burgers : top with 2 T. seasoned tomato sauce{or pizza sauce},sprinkle w/Parmesan cheese ;top with a slice of Mozzarella or Provolone cheese **The toppings are mostly carbs so it is up to you to count them according to what & how much you use. **Burgers are served " bunless " or could be wrapped in a low carb tortilla , lettuce or napa cabbage leaves. **Two patties make an excellent protein serving. **Most burgers can be made using chicken or turkey patties if you prefer not to use beef.Also a mixture of ground pork & beef could be used for a different flavor. **Toppings could also be used on grilled hot dogs or smokies. |
