Monterey Burgers
Ingredients:
1 pound lean (90%) ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
4 hamburger buns
Directions:
1. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine ground beef, onion, barbecue sauce, salt and
black pepper. Form meat mixture into 4 patties. Press one-fourth of the cheese
into center of each patty. Pull sides of patty up and over cheese, enclosing
cheese completely. Gently re-form into 1/2-inch thick patties.
2. Heat Generation II Large (10-inch) Skillet over medium heat until hot. Cook
over medium heat 10-12 minutes for medium (160°F) doneness, turning once during
cooking. Serve burgers on buns.
