Pennsylvania Dutch Sour Cream Apple Pie

1 (9-inch) pie crust
1/4 cup sour cream
1 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
11/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups thinly sliced tart apples
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup cold butter
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
Blend crumb ingredients together and set aside.
Combine sour cream, sugar, flour, salt and vanilla. Add apples and beaten egg.
Bake in shell for 25 minutes at 400 degrees F . Remove from oven, add crumbs.
Return to oven for 20 minutes.
Cool and refrigerate. Serve when cold.
