Raisin Caramel Apple Pie

4 Macintosh apples, peeled, cored and sliced thinly
1/4 lb. caramels, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup raisins
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 cup milk
Milk and sugar
2 9" pie crusts, unbaked
Preheat oven to 375*. Toss together first 6 ingredients then spoon into pie
shell and cover with top crust. Seal edges and cut slits in top. Brush crust
with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 45 minutes or until crust is golden.
Best served warm.
Serves 6 to 8.
