Pork Loin Cabbage Casserole

6 thick, boneless pork loin slices, 3/4-inch thick, browned on both sides in 1
tablespoon oil
6 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 onion, peeled and thinly sliced
1 head cabbage, sliced in 1-inch wedges
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup skim milk
Place ingredients in 9x12-inch casserole dish in the following order:
Bottom layers:
cabbage
potatoes
onions
Top layer:
pork chops
Sauce: Mix soup and milk together.
Pour over top layer.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover casserole and bake in oven for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
Variation:
Add 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
