Strawberry Pretzel Salad
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups pretzels -- crushed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter -- melted
8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
1 cup confectioner's sugar
9 ounces Cool Whip®
6 ounces strawberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 packages frozen strawberries -- thawed
Method:
Combine pretzels, sugar, and butter. Pat into a 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for
10 minutes. Let cool. Cream together cream cheese, confectioner's sugar, and
Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add the
thawed strawberries. Refrigerate and stir occasionally. When partially set, pour
SLOWLY over cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate and before serving, dot
with Cool Whip.
