Cashew Chicken Crescent Sandwiches

Easy and elegant, these mushroom- and nut-studded chicken sandwiches are great
for a special company luncheon or for a family treat.
2 (4.25-oz.) cans chicken spread
1 (4.5-oz.) jar Green Giant® Sliced Mushrooms, drained, chopped
1/4 cup chopped cashews
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 (8-oz.) cans Pillsbury® Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
4 (3/4-oz.) slices American cheese, cut in half
Red grape clusters, if desired
1. Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, combine chicken spread, mushrooms,
cashews, chives and pepper; mix well.
2. Separate dough into 8 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Place
cheese slice half in center of each rectangle. Spoon chicken mixture evenly over
cheese. Fold short ends of dough over filling; pinch edges to seal. Place dough
packets on ungreased large cookie sheet or 2 small cookie sheets.
3. Bake at 350°F. for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or
cool. Garnish with grape clusters.
