Seafood Salad Sandwiches

1 envelope LlPTON@ RECIPE SECRETS@ Vegetable Soup Mix
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup HELLMANN'S@ or BEST FOODS@ Real Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon fresh or frozen chopped chives (optional)
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Hot pepper sauce to taste
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 packages (6 ounces each) frozen crabmeat, thawed and well drained*
4 hard rolls, halved
Lettuce leaves

*Variations: Use 1 package (12 ounces) frozen cleaned shrimp, cooked and coarsely chopped; or 2 packages (8 ounces each) sea legs, thawed, drained and chopped; or 1 can (12 ounces) tuna, drained and flaked; or 2 cans (about 4 ounces each) medium or large shrimp, drained and chopped; or 2 cans (6 ounces each) crabmeat, drained and flaked. In large bowl, blend vegetable soup mix, sour cream, celery, mayonnaise, chives, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce and pepper. Stir in crabmeat; chill. To serve, line rolls with lettuce, then fill with crab mixture. Makes 4 sandwiches
