Tucson Corn Bake

Ingredients:
2 16-17 ounce cans cream-style corn
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
1 teaspoon garlic salt
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 4 ounce can green chillies, finely chopped
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients except chillies and cheese.
Divid the mixture in half. Place half of the mixture in a greased 8 inch square
baking dish. Mix chilies and cheese; place on top of the corn mixture in the
dish. Cover with remaining corn mixture. Bake for 35 minutes.
Makes 8 servings
