Chocolate Pizzelles
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. chocolate extract (optional)
2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup butter, margarine or oil, melted
3/4 cup plus 3 tbsp. sugar
Beat eggs and sugar. Add cooled melted butter or margarine, and vanilla and chocolate extracts.
Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa and add to egg mixture.
Batter will be stiff enough to drop from a spoon.
Batter can be refrigerated to be used at a later time.
Makes 30 pizzelles.
