Special Chocolate Chip Cookie #2

3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1 stick butter
1 stick Imperial margarine
2 eggs at room temperature
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2-1 oz. squares semi-sweet chocolate
1-1 oz. square unsweetened chocolate
1-12 oz. bag mini chocolate chips
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Options to follow.

Mix sugars together very well.
Melt butter and margarine together with the 3 oz. of chocolate and mix well.
Put it in the mixer with the sugar, and mix together very well.
Add 1 tbsp. vanilla. Mix easy, then add the two eggs.
Add the flour slowly and then the chips.

Now the options:

It makes a very good cookie to just use 1 cup of the mini-chips.
It is good with a full bag too.
I have made it with the one bag plus the one bag of chocolate chunks.
However you do it, there is one more thing you need to know.
If you want the cookies to spread and become more crisp, put a large tbsp. of the
dough on a cookie sheet and keep them a little bit apart because they will run.
Bake in 375 oven for about 9 minutes.
You can also put the batter in the fridge for about 10 minutes and put on a cookie sheet
with a little over a tbsp. of batter and bake for about 9 minutes at 375.
Then the cookies raise a little, the way I like them most I think.
Just can't make up my mind.

Anyway, have fun and make my famous cookies.
