Weight Watchers Kashi Waffles Recipe

WW: Kashi Waffles


1 cup cold, cooked Kashi Pilaf
1 cup sifted flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbs brown sugar
3 eggs, separated
1/3 cup melted butter or margarine (or applesauce)
1 1/2 cup buttermilk


Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Beat egg yolks until light in color. Beat egg whites until stiff. Blend buttermilk, butter (or applesauce) and egg yolks and add to dry ingredients. Mix well. Fold in Kashi and egg whites. Bake in hot waffle iron until golden brown.

Yield: 6 large waffles
4 POINTS per serving - 1 large waffle
