Weight Watchers Apple Grunt Recipe

This old fashioned fruit dessert is topped with slightly sweet bisquick dough
and then stewed.

5 medium Golden Delicious apples (about 2 pounds), peeled and cut into
1/2-inch wedges
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
2 cups reduced-fat bisquick and baking mix (such as bisquick)
3/4 cup milk
3 Tablespoons sugar
3 Tablespoons butter or stick margarine, melted
3 cups vanilla low-fat frozen yogurt

1. Place apples, 1/2 cup sugar, flour, and apple pie spice in a 4-quart
electric slow cooker; stir well.

2. Combine bisquick mix, milk, 3 Tablespoons sugar, and butter in a bowl;
stir just until moist. Spoon dough over apple mixture.

3. Cover with lid; cook on low-heat setting 6 hours. Divide mixture evenly
between 9 dessert dishes; top each serving with 1/3 cup frozen yogurt. Serve
